MAKING A DIFFERENCE
When our "taco stand" dream came to fruition and we formed Missing Hammer Brands, there were a couple of things we hoped to accomplish. First, create a company that's fun and inspiring. Second, give back in some way through our brands. We feel that we are well on our way to accomplishing these goals.
We are very proud to announce our partnership with Generosity Feeds, an initiative of the Replenish Foundation, that works hard to feed hungry kids in every county across America, so all children can thrive. This is happening because of people like you!
To support this mission, Taco Apparel Company, a Missing Hammer Brand, will donate a portion of the profits from every item we sell, to Generosity Feeds.
Go to generosityfeeds.org to learn about other ways you can make a difference, like participating in their National Virtual Food Drive.
Let's join together and help feed hungry kids and remember, whatever it is, it will be great, and now is the time to do it!
Meet Wes Douglas
Wes is the creative artist behind our t-shirt designs, “TACo Blues” and "Fish TACo." TACo Apparel Company is excited to have his caliber of talent amongst our team.
Wes is an accomplished art director, designer, graphic recorder, art teacher and former business founder. He has been interviewed on WGN Radio’s “Outside The Loop” program and WGN-TV’s Morning News for his illustrative style. He also was on the stage at TEDx Naperville to demonstrate his graphic recording style to a crowd of 500 attendees. He has illustrated two successful business books (“Free The Idea Monkey..To Focus On What Matters Most,” and “Plan D: Lessons From The World’s Most Successful Disruptors” by G. Michael Maddock) and is an award-winning package designer.
As an artist, Wes describes his style as “an efficient economy of line” where he tries to get the most meaning out of the fewest lines. He was attracted to working with TACo Apparel Company, because he likes the creative spirit behind each of the designs we produce.
Wes lives and works in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife, son and their dog Nero.
